Wright County VFW Post 1901, located at 300 Zephyr Avenue, will host a Memorial Day and Honor Project Dedication Ceremony Monday, May 29, starting at 10:30 a.m.
VFW Post 1901 was founded to consolidate members from four previous VFW posts in Delano, Buffalo, Montrose, and Waverly, and Howard Lake, resulting in a rich history of honored Veterans hailing from much of Wright County, who have a recognition paver included on the Honor Walk.
The Memorial Day Ceremony will honor Wright County Veterans and their families with a ritual reading of the names of the fallen who were members of the Wright County VFW or Auxiliary.
