The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance
in locating a handicapped accessible van that was stolen from a
Rockford residence during the early morning hours of July 6.
The vehicle owner reported that between 3:30-6:00 a.m., a 2006 Toyota
Sienna van displaying Minnesota license TKT-324 parked in their
driveway was stolen. The van is silver in color and was equipped with
several thousand dollars of electronic and hydraulic equipment
including a remote control wheel chair ramp.
The Toyota van displays typical characteristics of a handicapped
accessible van such as the appearance of a lift on the rear portion of
the vehicle and a side panel on the passengers side of the van that
extends down to conceal all of the electrical wiring for the handicap
conversion.
The vehicle also contains much needed medical equipment that is
critical in the transportation of the vehicle owner’s 15-year-old son.
Any information on the whereabouts of the 2006 Toyota van can be
reported to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at (763) 682-1162.
