The Wright County Public Health Wellness on Wheels (WOW) van will be in Montrose Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Clark Station from 2 to 6 p.m.
Wellness on Wheels services include adult and child immunizations, screening for blood pressure and diabetes, child car seat check (by appointment); and information about healthy lifestyles, safety issues, pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, child health, growth, and development; chronic illness, and unhealthy lifestyle behaviors such as smoking, drug and alcohol abuse, and unsafe sex.
In addition, cholesterol testing is offered (by appointment). The entire test (the fasting complete profile) takes about 30 minutes. There is a $30 fee for cholesterol testing.
