Wind chill advisory issued by Nat’l Weather Service

The National Weather Service has  posted a wind chill advisory effective 6 p.m. Friday until Saturday morning, with dangerous wind chills of 25 to 35 below.

The National Weather Service In Twin Cities/Chanhassen Has Issued
A Wind Chill Advisory, Which Is In Effect From 6 PM This Evening
To 9 AM CST Saturday.

* Wind Chill Values, 25 To 35 Below.

* Other Impacts, Winds Of 8 To 15 Mph This Evening Will Taper To
5 To 8 Mph Later Tonight. Low Temperatures Will Fall To 15 To 25
Below By Saturday Morning.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions,

A Wind Chill Advisory Means That Very Cold Air And Strong Winds
Will Combine To Generate Low Wind Chills. This Will Result In
Frost Bite And Lead To Hypothermia If Precautions Are Not Taken.
If You Must Venture Outdoors, Make Sure You Wear A Hat And
Gloves.
