Television sets that are in Delano will be affected by the switch from an analog to digital signal in February. Television sets that use rabbit ears will require an adapter that costs about $60. The government is offering $40 coupons that will defray this cost. You may apply for up to two (2) coupons on the following web site: www.dtv2009.gov.
If you apply now, the coupons will be mailed and should arrive in January, before the switchover.
If you decide to use a more expensive option, which is to buy cable or dish TV, this is an option as well. Any retail operation that sells these kinds of services would be able to help you.
