, Wintry Precipitation Tonight With Accumulating Snow
Continuing Across Western Minnesota On Friday,

.A Winter Weather Advisory For Snow And Freezing Drizzle Has Been
Issued For Tonight For Much Of Central And Southern Minnesota As
Well As Polk, St Croix And Pierce Counties In West Central
Wisconsin. Some Cities In The Advisory Area Include St Cloud,
The Twin Cities Metropolitan Area, Mankato, Farimont,
Albert Lea, New Richmond And River Falls.

A Mix Of Snow And Freezing Drizzle Was Occurring Across Much Of
Central And Southern Minnesota, As Well As Far Western Wisconsin
This Evening. Law Enforcement Reports Very Slippery Road
Conditions. The Snow And Freezing Drizzle Will Persist Through The
Night Before Diminishing Friday Morning.

The Wintry Precipitation Tonight Will Lead To Potentially Dangerous
Travel Conditions, And Motorists Are Urged To Use Extra Caution
When Driving, Especially On Minimally Treated Roadways.

In Addition, A Winter Weather Advisory Remains In Effect For
Tonight Into Friday Night For Parts Of West Central
Minnesota, Along And West Of A Granite Falls To Alexandria Line.

A Wintry Mix Will Also Occur In This Area Early Tonight With A
Transition To Snow Later In The Night. The Snow Will Then Continue
On Friday Before Diminishing Friday Night. Snow Accumulations By Friday
Evening Will Be In The 3 To 5 Inch Range, With Isolated Amounts
Near 6 Inches.

A Winter Weather Advisory For Snow And Freezing Drizzle, Which Is In
Effect Until 6 AM CST Friday.

* Timing, Snow, Mixed With Freezing Drizzle Will Occur Tonight.

* Main Impact, A Light Coating Of Ice On Untreated Surfaces Will
Lead To Very Slippery Conditions.

* Other Impacts, Snow Accumulation Could Reach An Inch By
Daybreak Friday.
