he Relay for Life teams from Delano and the surrounding area have
several events planned for the upcoming months before the Relay, which
is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26 at Delano
Central Park. The Relay will begin at 4 p.m. and end the following
morning at 6 a.m. Below are upcoming events:
June 24 –  Team “GFWC Rockers” at city park gazebo. Mike Merriman
performs oldies and country   music beginning at 7 p.m. Free will
offering.
June 28 –  Wrapped in Satin jazz performance at the city park gazebo
at 2 p.m. Free will offering benefiting the Delano RFL.

June 28 –  Team “The Can Cans” sponsoring Jonah and the Whales band at
Doc Holidays, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. $15 at the door.
June  29 – “Jackie’s Wackie Bunch”  cosmic bowling/silent auction from
12:30 to 3:30 p.m. $8 child, adult $12. As many games as you can fit
in. Drawings every half hour. Park Tavern in St. Louis Park (Louisiana
Avenue and 36th Street).
