At the Delano School Board meeting Monday night, the board learned of the resignation of Sarah Gallagher from the school board. Gallagher’s term ran through 2012. Because of her resignation, a vacancy exists on the board that will be filled by appointment. Persons interested in being considered for this position need to fill out an application at the District Office by 2 p.m. Friday, Aug.14.  Applications are available at the District office and also at www.Delano.k12.mn.us. The person appointed to the board will serve until 2010, at which time the seat will be up for election.
