NEW GERMANY, MN – Fred Radde of New Germany will be conducting an auction at the end of this month to sell watercraft and snowmobiles as part of the Denny Hecker estate, Radde confirmed today (July 28).
The auction, set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, will feature two 26 foot pontoons, nine snowmobiles, golf clubs and equipment, two Vespa scooters, and a large variety of other similar items. This is only part of what Hecker owns, Radde noted. The reason that seasonal items such as water toys and snowmobiles are being sold now is because the season is right for sale, he said. Other items will continue to be sold, he added.
Radde took the high-profile auction in stride, saying “It’s just another auction.” He treats everyone the same, he said. However, Radde has been contacted by four broadcast stations this morning, and his phone has been ringing off the hook.
