The fourth annual Delano Area Chamber of Commerce’s Fall Harvest Festival is set for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25-26.
Key events include the homecoming parade Friday at 2 p.m., running from the Delano City Hall east on Elm Avenue to Delano Schools. Spectators from the community are encouraged to attend and watch the parade.
The following morning, a medallion hunt begins at 10 a.m., followed by a craft fair, hay bale maze, pumpkin painting, hair in the air, a pie eating contest, and more all at the Delano City Park. The first medallion hunt clue can be found in this week’s Delano Herald Journal in the special homecoming wrap.
Do you have a great chili recipe? Do you make unique crafts? Last minute entries are still being accepted to join in the 2009 Fall Harvest Festival.
