Subject: Knitting 101 Offered At Delano Library

Delano, MN, September 2009 -  The Delano Public Library is offering a Knitting 101 program series for teens and adults on Thursdays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8.
Participants will learn knitting basics, including casting, knit and purl stitches, binding off, increasing and decreasing. The group will also discuss equipment, yarns, pattern reading and project selection, as well as complete a simple project. The program will be presented by Sharon Verchota from the Delano library staff. The attendance limit is ten, and preregistration is required.
