Highway 12 redevelopment meeting Saturday in Montrose
The City of Montrose’s Highway 12 Redevelopment Task force, formed as a result of the community’s Healthy Community Partnership grant, will host a series of Highway 12 Redevelopment Visual Preference meetings Saturday, Jan. 17.
Meetings will be in the Montrose Community Center and three optional meeting times have been scheduled: 2 to 3 p.m., 3 to 4 p.m., and 4 to 5 p.m.
During the one-hour sessions, members will provide an overview of the committee’s goals and objectives with a slideshow, asking those present to rate various Highway 12 streetscape items including streetlights, light poles, sidewalk improvements, building material, pedestrian seating and parking lot improvement. Refreshments will be served.
