St. Peter Lutheran Church of rural Watertown, located at 3030 Navajo Avenue, will be hosting its first ever German Maifest Sunday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day will begin at 9 a.m. with an accordion and alp horn church service. After the service, the day will include a Maifest market, silent auction, children’s games, music by the Bruce Bradley Band and Bill Koncar Band, a drawing for a quilt made by members of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, performance by the German dance troop SG Edelweiss from St. Paul, a May pole raising ceremony, Schmitzel Dinner, brats and kraut, and German beer.
