Willis L. Beal age 86 of Maple Plain, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Haven Homes in Maple Plain, Minnesota. He was born October 4, 1925 to Clarence and Clara (Faust) Beal in Independence, Minnesota.

Willis was united in marriage on September 9, 1953 to Marion E. Schumacher at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Anoka, Minnesota.  Willis was a lifelong farmer in the Maple Plain area, who enjoyed playing cards and square dancing.

Willis was preceded in death by his twin sons Raymond and Joseph Beal as well as his parents Clarence and Clara Beal.

Willis is survived by his wife Marion; children Stephen (Anne) Beal, Leonard (Anita) Beal, Suzanne (Tom) Hauer, Marietta (Chris) Cady; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a sister Marilyn Hamilton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, Minnesota.   Visitation will take place on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota with a 7 p.m. prayer service.  Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to Mass in the church on Friday. Rev. John Gallas will celebrate the Mass with interment in the church cemetery.
