DELANO, MN – At a special workshop meeting June 30, the Delano City Council approved a resolution to apply for a $770,000 bond to fund Phase 2 of the Highway 12/Bridge Avenue project, which is set to begin Tuesday, July 7.

The bond will cover the road, sidewalk, and lighting costs, as well as the $40,000 to $50,000 bonding cost, Finance Director Brian Bloch said.

At the council meeting Tuesday, July 21, city officials will decide on either a 10-year or 20-year bond.
