The city of Delano has started the Fun in the Sun program (FITS). This is the fifth year of this recreation program.

FITS offers coordinated activities in municipal parks from Monday, June 8 through Thursday, July 23. The purpose of FITS is to provide additional summer programming for children ages five and up and to further utilize municipal parks.

Activities will be offered Monday through Thursday from 1-3 p.m. Each week there will be a different activity such as; athletic games, learning demonstrations, and arts and crafts.

FITS is offered free of charge to Delano residents. A registration is required with a parent signature prior to participation.
