DELANO, MN – The Delano Lions club will be hosting an awards banquet Thursday, Feb. 24 at the new Mucho Amigo Restaurant. Social hour will be at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. The feature of the evening will be the awarding of the first Lions Spirit award to Bill “Flippin’ Bill” Hanson for his support over the years. Friends and relatives are invited.

Another new award will be initiated this year in honor of Jim Barbre, long time member, who is deceased. It will be designated the “Lions Heart” award and will be given for outstanding Lionism.
