DELANO, MN - In what looks to be light agendas, the Delano City Council will conduct two meetings tonight (Tuesday). The first will be a work session at 6 p.m., with agenda items including discussion on the city’s phone plans, discussion of the acquisition of property for floodplain purposes, and reviewing upcoming meetings and work plan. The regular meeting at 7 p.m. has a number of consent items, including consideration of a gambling permit request from the Delano Sportsmen’s Club, a resolution for on-sale liquor at the Cabaret event at the Delano Senior Center, and the replacement of a computer station. An additional agenda item includes consideration of a resolution for the City of Delano’s public safety policy/procedure.
