The General Federated Women’s Club (GFWC) of Delano is preparing for its spring banquet and the selection of the Delano 2010 Citizen of the Year.
The GFWC of Delano is soliciting nominations directly from the community for this years’ nomination.
The presentation of the award will be made at the GFWC annual banquet, Saturday, April 10, 2010.
The nominee should be a long-standing resident of the Delano area, and should have served the community in many different ways. The nominee need not be a member of an organization.
Information about the nominee should include: family, work, volunteerism, other community involvement, and outside community involvement. The more information received, the better.
The final decision for Citizen of the Year will be made by the GFWC.
Nominations for this prestige award must be received by Monday, Dec 7.
