DAEF informational meeting Monday, Oct. 12 at Three Crows

The Delano Area Educational Foundation (DAEF) is a non-profit organization led by a group of volunteers. Its mission is to enrich the learning experiences of all students in District 879 by helping them achieve academic excellence. In April 2009, the foundation awarded $26,050 in grant money to the Delano schools. Additionally, its endowment now exceeds $35,000.
The board of the foundation would like to extend an invitation to all parents and community members to attend an Informational Gathering at the Three Crows Monday, Oct. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m.  Come join us for refreshments, light snacks, and hear the current board members describe their experience on DAEF’s Board.  You will learn about the opportunities available on the board, as well as other opportunities to volunteer on the committees for one of semi-annual fundraising events.

This is a perfect opportunity for fun, energetic, creative people who are interested in putting their skills to good use through volunteerism.

If you have any questions about DAEF or about this informational gathering, please contact Lisa Seguin at (763) 942-7252
