Coborn’s gives donation to Delano second grader with muscular dystrophy

cobDELANO, MN – Delano second grader Maxximos Kirley, who has Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy, will soon be receiving a service dog from Canine Assistants, thanks to a special donation from Coborn’s in Delano and the Milk-Bone Brand.

The cost and care of the specially trained dogs that the organization provides average more than $10,000. PBS will air a documentary about Canine Assistants, a national charitable organization, Wednesday at 7 p.m.
