FUNERAL NOTICE: Glen “Buddy” Graunke, 72, Buffalo

Glen Oscar Graunke, “Buddy” age 72 of Buffalo passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. He was born March 27, 1941 to George and Evelyn (Will) Graunke in Watertown, Minnesota.

Glen went to school in the Watertown School System. He worked as a punch press operator for Ware Manufacturing for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, go four wheeling, snowmobiling, but most of all to spend time with his friends and family.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents George and Evelyn Graunke; sister Judith Graunke; brother Dale Graunke; brother-in-law Leo Svoboda; and a niece Bev Ehlers. He is survived by his siblings Marlys Winsemann, Barb Graunke, Pat (Larry) Snodgrass, Lois Svoboda, Carol (Duane) Poliwoda, Dennis Graunke, Richard (Fran) Graunke, Ronald (Audrey) Graunke, Frank Graunke, Leroy (Blythe) Graunke, Roger (Ginger) Graunke; special family member Debra Schmidt.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday prior to the services. Inurnment will be in the Watertown Public Cemetery.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Loren A. Schaust, 89, Delano

Loren Andrew Schaust, age 89 of Delano went to be with his perfect partner Dorothy and son Loren Robert on Monday, April 29, 2013.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was always willing to lend a helping hand and provide a quick pearl of wisdom.

Survived by children and spouses Donna Nesbitt and fiance Richard Tucker, Doug (Becky), Bonnie (Steve) Meyer; grandchildren Brandon Nesbitt (Kristy Johnson), Amber Nesbitt, Robert Schaust, Ryan Schaust, Andrew Meyer; great grandson Kadin Nesbitt.

Mass of Christian burial 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Delano. Visitation Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church. There will be a 3:30 p.m. rosary and 7:30 p.m. prayer service on Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. at St. Peter’s prior to the Mass. Interment Calvary Cemetery.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Steve Donald Walker, 27, Buffalo

Steve Donald Walker, age 27 of Buffalo, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2013.  He was born December 2, 1985 to Shirley Walker and Daryl Nesenson in Buffalo.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank Carl Walker.  He is survived by his mother Shirley Walker, father Daryl (Gina) Nesenson; grandparents Ron and Carol Lahman; siblings Angela Rogers, Hollyann (Easton) Pelg, Jess Walker, Crystal and Carlie Nesenson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Our Father Lutheran Church in Rockford, Minnesota.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues 1 hour prior to services on Friday ALL at the church.  Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Rockford, Minnesota.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Jonathon T. Blank, 31, Maple Plain

Jonathon Thomas Blank, age 31, of Maple Plain, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, April 15 at 11 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, followed by interment in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano; and will continue one hour prior to Mass Monday, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.

Arrangements are by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.

Jonathon was born March 5, 1982, in Pella, IA, to Tom and Judy (Lemke) Blank.

He was bound to his soulmate, Laura Schumacher.

Jonathon was a good person, and a great son and brother to Curtis. Strong in his Christian faith, he was a compassionate young man, worried more about those that he leaves behind.

Jonathon possessed a strong work ethic that he carried over into everything he did, especially his carpentry and auto body work. He loved to volunteer and help other people, and was a Delano Jaycee member for three years.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Julia (Shumway) Blank; and an aunt, Carol Waters.

Jonathon is survived by his fiancée, Laura Schumacher; parents Thomas Blank, and Judy Blank and her partner Ronda Elias; brother Curtis and Tia Blank; grandparents Lois and Floyd Lemke; his aunt, the Rev. Lynn and Steve Schreck; and cousins Scott and Mark Schreck.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Marguerite K. Swartzer, 85, Delano

Marguerite K. Swartzer, 85 of Delano, passed away Tuesday at North Memorial Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Center. Visitation will be Friday, 2 hours prior to the Mass at the church. Mass of Christian Burial for Marguerite (Mrs. Walter Motzko and Mrs. John) Swartzer will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church, Delano, with interment at the church cemetery. Arrangements were made with the Iten Funeral Home of Delano.

Madeline Hope Lebovsky, “Maggie” age 92 of Delano passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Legacy of Delano. She was born March 11, 1921 to Daniel and Grace (Bracken) Alger in Independence, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota.  Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday ALL at Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church.  Rosary services will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.  Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
