A Buffalo man who was a passenger in a two-car crash on Highway 12 Friday was hospitalized with serious injuries as the result of a crash west of Delano, according to the State Patrol.

Mark Klein, 46, of Buffalo is in critical condition from a rear-end crash that involved two drivers on Highway 12 near Wright County Road 14.  Hailey Klein, 17, driving a 1990 Chevrolet Corsica was slowing and stopping to make a left hand turn onto Co. Rd. 14 when a Ford Freestar, driven by Crystal Simmang, 26, of Montrose rear-ended her.

Another crash was in the westbound lane at the time of this crash, according to the accident report.  Hailey was treated and released.  Summang was not injured.
