MONTROSE, MN – A Highway 12 redevelopment meeting will be at the Montrose City Hall Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.
Items on the agenda include an update on city banners, MnDOT landscape partnership program quotes, a historic property inventory, and a 2010 annual meeting/2011 implementation grant. An update will also be given on Highway 12/CR 12 landscaping and Highway 12/Center Avenue improvement.
LORETTO, MN – The 11th annual Loretto Fun Fest is coming up Saturday, Sept. 18, and volunteers are still needed to help run a few of the events.
If you are able to spare a couple hours and are age 15 or older, contact Loretto City Hall at (763) 479-4305. This event includes music, kiddie train, softball games, food, demonstrations, and fireworks.
DELANO, MN – The Delano Jaycees are reviving its haunted (ware)house this year, with the event planned for several weekends in October.
Donations are being sought for 8 foot 2-by-4s, 1-by-4s, and black plastic. Contact (763) 972-2951 and leave contact information if interested in donating.

DELANO, MN – The Delano Fire Department Relief Association and Delano Senior Center are co-hosting the second annual Dad’s Belgian Waffle and silent auction fundraising event Saturday, Sept. 11 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase firefighter personal protective equipment for the fire department and support programming for the senior center.
