Klobuchar staff to host No Child Left Behind meeting Wednesday

Klobuchar
Educators, Parents about Education Reform

Beginning Wednesday, April 8, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s staff will hold K‐12 Education Forums
throughout Minnesota to hear from educators, parents, administrators and community members about
education reform and their views on the federal No Child Left Behind law, which is up for
reauthorization by Congress this year. Klobuchar wants to know what education reforms at the federal
level would best serve Minnesota schools and their students.
On Wednesday, April 22, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm at Delano Elementary School, Klobuchar’s staff will be
holding one of the forums for the citizens of Delano and the surrounding communities. Dr. John Sweet,
Superintendent of Delano Public Schools, Mr. Darren Schuler, Principal of Delano Elementary School,
district parents and community members will be part of the forum panel. If you would like to have a
voice on the current No Child Left Behind law and what reforms you would like to see in education at
the federal level, please join the Klobuchar staff in welcoming your opinions on April 22.
If you plan on attending, please park behind the Delano Sports Arena, in the southeast parking lot of the
Delano Elementary School. Please check in at the Delano Elementary School office, where the staff can
direct you to where this forum is being held.

If you are unable to attend, Minnesotans can also submit suggestions and find out the dates and
