The Delano Senior Center will be hosting an Easter dinner and bake sale on Tuesday, April 7.
The bake sale will take place from 9:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. with dinner being served at 12:00.
There will be accordion music by Ralph Elander, many treats to purchase and a delicious dinner including: Honey Glazed Ham, O’Brien Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Cranberry Garnish, Dinner Roll and Lemon Cheesecake.

Delano Cub Scout pack 273 will be hosting it’s annual Cub Scout cake auction on Monday, April 27 at the Delano United Methodist Church. This auction is one of only a few events used to fund Pack 273. Proceeds are used to fund pack meetings, supplies for den activities, and awards for advancement.
Each year the pack participates in many events to support the community such as: donating to the Delano Food Shelf, selling Christmas Trees with the Lions Club, singing Christmas Carols at the Delano nursing homes and senior housing units, assisting with the Delano Fourth of July Parade, and raising donations and sending gifts to soldiers overseas.

The Animal Humane Society Walk for Animals will take place Saturday, May 2. Registration and activities begin at 8:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 10:30 a.m. The event will be at the Animal Humane Society’s Golden Valley campus at 845 Meadow Lane North.
This is the 35th annual Walk for Animals and a time to gather and celebrate while helping animals. Nearly 40,000 animals depend on the donations generated on this single day.

The Delano Knights of Columbus Council #4653 are once again holding their Easter Egg Hunt at the Delano City Park. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m. and will take place rain or shine. The Easter Bunny will be there to hand out Easter goodies and for pictures.
