The Montrose Lions Club is sponsoring a breakfast buffet Sunday, March 1 from 8:30 a.m. t 12:630 p.m. at the Montrose Community Center.
The cost will be $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-12, and free for children ages 4 and under.
The menu will consist of pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage links, fruit, juice and coffee.
The Delano Royalty Organization will be hosting an informational meeting Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at the Delano Crow River Villa Apartments, located on fifth street.
This meeting is for young women interested in the program, and their families, to learn more about the program, get questions answered, and speak with current royalty before applications are due.

The Wright County Economic Development Partnership will host a special breakfast meeting at the Delano City Hall community center in Delano from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday Feb. 19.
This event will feature a buffet breakfast, and Commissioner Tom Hanson will share information about how much money for what programs will come to Minnesota. The cost to attend this event is $20 for those who register by noon Wednesday, Feb. 18 and $30 for walk-ins.
Much has been printed and written about the $800 Billion plus economic stimulus package. At this event, a closer interpretation of what that means for Minnesota will be shared by the Governor’s Commissioner of Management and Budget, Tom Hanson.

The next Delano Area Chamber of Commerce Highway 12 Task Force meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the State Bank of Delano’s lower level meeting room. Task force meetings are open to the public.
The Delano High School all night graduation party committee will be conducting a breakfast Saturday, Feb. 21 at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar from 8 to 10 a.m.
Tickets will be available at Applebee’s or at the Delano High School. All proceeds benefit the 2009 all night graduation party.
The Knights of Columbus Council 4653 of Delano and St. Mary of Czestochowa’s Men’s Club will host a pancake, French toast, and sausage breakfast at St. Mary of Czestochowa’s dining hall, located at
1867 95th St SE in rural Delano Sunday, Feb. 22 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Proceeds are for seminarians. A free-will offering will be accepted.
