The West Metro Business and Craft Expo is set to take place Saturday,
May 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orono Discovery Center in Maple
Plain.

A high voter turn-out at the polls Tuesday yielded the passage of question one of the two-question ballot for the Delano School District Tuesday.
Question one, which asked voters for funds to acquire land for a grades 4-6 building, passed with 1,782 in favor of, and 1,304 against.
Question two, which asked voters for funds to construct the grades 4-6 building, failed with 1,694 voting against it, and 1,388 voting in favor of it.

In other Highway 12 news, at the construction meeting for the public Tuesday morning, MnDOT officials said MnDOT feels an alternate truck route for through truck traffic is necessary, and is looking at alternate routes and communicating with road authorities to establish the route.
A discussion also took place about the intersection of Highway 12 and Bridge Avenue in the area of Absolute Automotive, and issues were noted from that area.

Flower Farm by Otten Brothers is offering several instructional seminars this weekend.
