Wee Tiger Preschool is offered through Community Education: Wee Tiger Preschool classes for children 3 and 4 years (two years prior to kindergarten) and four and five years (the year prior to kindergarten) and are offered through the Community Education program of School District 879.
Classes are conducted throughout the school year at the Delano Elementary School and the Community Education Center. The curriculum includes a variety of experiences in pre-reading, language, math, dramatic play, art, music, creative movement, science, gym, and, of course, lots of time to play, discover, and explore.

Tiger Kids Club and its Tiger Cubs - A pre-kindergarten program, is a comprehensive, extended day offering for children, 4 years of age through the completion of fourth grade. Located at the Delano Community Education Center, TKC, and Tiger Cubs are available to students and their families, Monday Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the year, including the summer and a number of non school days during the school year.
Tiger Kids Club offers homework help, supervised small and large group games, field trips, enrichment programs and easy access to community education offerings. TKC also provides a breakfast program and after school snacks.
Tiger Cubs, the pre-kindergarten component of TKC, is designed to start the foundation of learning for children the year prior to entering kindergarten. Through a variety of experiences, young learners will be exposed to pre math, and writing skills, language activities, science and art exploration, large and fine motor activities as well as all the other benefits Tiger Kids Club provides. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE): Early Childhood Family Education offers parent-child classes and family activities for parents and their young children from birth to kindergarten enrollment, which fosters the growth and development of children, enriches family life, and provides information and support for parents.
Early Childhood Family Education recognizes that families provide children their first and most important learning environment and that parents are children’s first and most significant teachers.
The mission of ECFE is to strengthen families through the education and support of all parents in providing the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children. Joyful Heart Preschool: Joyful Heart Preschool promotes the growth and development of preschool children, ages 33 months to pre-kindergarten.

Cherub Corner Child Care: Is an interdenominational Christian daycare center located in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on River Street in Delano.
They serve all children, ages six weeks to 5 years old, with complete daycare and preschool programs. It is their philosophy that each child is a special gift from God.
